Conditions We Treat

Joint Dysfunctions

Restricted or painful joint movement from injury, degeneration, or misalignment.

Overview

Understanding Joint Dysfunctions

Joint dysfunction describes any joint that has lost its normal motion, control, or ability to share load. It can affect the spine, the extremities, or the small joints of the hands and feet — and it often develops silently before producing pain or noticeable stiffness.

Unaddressed joint dysfunction forces other joints, muscles, and fascial chains to compensate, which is how a single restriction often grows into a much larger pain problem over time.

At FRI we use precise motion palpation to identify exactly which joints are dysfunctional, then combine adjustments, mobilization, and movement retraining to restore normal mechanics throughout the system.
